“We are two engineers with degrees in Life Sciences from EPFL. We met during our Master studies in Lausanne. Having both traveled in 2018, it was after our adventures that we found each other. The "kosmos" has brought us together and made us live great adventures. We are convinced that life is beautiful and that it is there to make us evolve. Life is a constant learning. As long as we follow its flow, whatever happens is right, beautiful and good to grasp. It is with this in mind that we founded together, in September 2020, Kosmos Drinks.

It is with great pleasure that we work together, in search of new flavors. We are grateful to be able to share this adventure together and to cross paths with many beautiful local actors, who act for nature and the environment at their level.

What is kefir? It is a fermented drink full of probiotics. In general, probiotics contribute to the maintenance of good health and can bring you many benefits!

 

We offer various kefirs according to the seasons, to take advantage of the best ingredients as locally as possible. Our traditional kefirs contain almost no sugar, most having been consumed in the fermentation process. These versions are made entirely cold and without pasteurization in order to retain all the health benefits associated with probiotics. Therefore, these are "living" drinks and it is advisable to keep them in the fridge. »

Adil's Kombucha

An ancestral drink, Kombucha is a sparkling and tangy drink from East Asia. Kombucha is obtained from the culture of a particular organism that grows in tea. It is a symbiont, an association of several organisms of different species that live together for their mutual benefit.

In Asian countries and Russia, this drink has been used for centuries, both for its refreshing taste and for its therapeutic properties due to the presence of B vitamins and different beneficial acids. In China, Kombucha has been consumed for 2200 years in order to obtain “immortality”.

“The Lausanne company Ecocascara hast set as its goal the intelligent use of agricultural surpluses for its range of products. Our key ingredients are cascara (i.e. coffee cherry pulp) and grape must. Every year, coffee cultivation generates more than 30 million tons of waste from the pulp of the coffee cherry; enough to cover the city of Zurich under 1 meter of fruit! Fruit pulps which, however, are a superfruit rich in antioxidants. Promoting the use of cascara is our contribution to a circular economy and a better world. »

The story of The Smart Cake, like most good stories, is a love story. A love of good food, cooking and making people smile through the tasting experience.

We started by preparing our cakes at home, adding little sugar as well as healthy and natural ingredients, then baking them in the small oven in our kitchen.

And even today, everything is homemade, balanced and without artificial flavors or preservatives. Above all, we favor quality and flavor.

The Smart Truffles were born 2 years later and it was love at first bite. The development of this new product sparked our creativity and inspired us to develop our latest product, the Smart Granola.

Today, we continue to develop products that are as tasty as they are nutritious, for our dear customers.

“Cuisine and flavors have always been present in my house (Venezuela). I am a teacher by profession and my passion is cooking and good food. It is an important part of my life! My husband being a great sportsman, I took my first steps by making healthy food! What started as a hobby ended up being a small business that we managed to build in Caracas.

When we arrived in Switzerland in 2016, even if we did not yet know how, we knew that we wanted to continue our project. This is how the adventure began and materialized in 2019 when we were finally able to give shape to our dream: Our company Carakas.

Im always on the lookout for new flavor combinations. For me, cooking is like a laboratory where I can give free rein to my imagination, Carakas is more than a dream, it's really a passion, its this love that pushes me to cook and which, I hope will reach all those who consume Carakas products. »

Christophe and Lise-Catherine, Aubonne

 

Mr. Christophe Suter and his wife Mrs. Lise-Catherine are passionate about growing delicious organic fruit just a stone's throw from us!

Their story :

A CFC in agriculture-wine growing, a master's degree in arboriculture and various specialized training courses in arbo-viti for Christophe. An HMP nursing diploma, various training courses in perinatal care and in helping relationships for Lise-Catherine. Since 1990, they have together welcomed and taken care of their four daughters and three children at heart, as well as the land of the Roveray estate. Sensitive to the environment, to the development of arboriculture that respects the cycles of the seasons, without chemical treatment or intensive production research, Christophe and Lise decided to follow the principles of organic arboriculture in 1997. Aware that each choice has an impact on the preservation of the earth and on the future of future generations, their 24ha estate is now fully labeled "Bourgeon" by Bio Suisse.
